Up for consideration, I have a lower unit removed from a 1999 25 HP Yamaha 4 stroke. Its in good working order. THe oil is dark, not milky so the seals should be fine. It shifts and turns smoothly. There is a crack at the hub but it doesnt go far enough to where oil leaks. It probably could be welded or use as is..
