Vintage Hyena Pelt Rug Taxidermy Skin Animal Fur

For your consideration is a beautiful vintage hyena rug that was purchased on eBay 5 years ago.  This unique animal rug was mounted after it was hunted by a dentist from Georgia visiting Africa in the 1970s, when he passed his neighbor bought this at auction as he was an avid taxidermy collector.
This hyena has been meticulously cared for since in our possession and has had no use whatsoever, i.e. no people or animals walking on it.  Total length is about 70", width about 65", head height is about 6".  The skin is backed with felt.
This item will be a conversation in your home and add to the ambience of your space.
There is a small tear in the skin on the left armpit - shown in pictures.
