Vintage Elk antlers 1920s Spartanburg County SC Massive 41 inches wide

Description

I bought this rack from a guy that had inherited it from his Grandfather.  The story is that the animal was killed north of Spartanburg in South Carolina in the 1920s.  The story sounded good to me but I can't say with absolute certainty that the story is true.  Although the last very few remaining Elk as far south as SC were there in the early 1900s.
I'll be driving up to the Outer Banks of NC to go fishing mid April.  Maybe I could delivery it.  Thanks for looking
