    Description

Bernard in 1972. Fun story. There was a serious effort, partly funded by Peugeot, to hold a major pro race in the US in 73. It of course collapsed under the weight of all the petty egos running cycling in the US back then. So look close...they covered up the DOA "Gran Prix of the United States" rather than tossing the posters, they handed them out to dealers with the stickers on them.
And now, how about some boiler plate?
This is required reading prior to purchase. It will be on the final exam.
This is one of the many posters (and similar Dealer ephemera) I have had squirreled away for many decades in a big flat file drawer, or in tube. Many were dragged home from yet another exhausting annual U.S. bike trade show, circa 1972-2005. Some time ago I sold most of my extra copies on Ebay. Some ended up in the walls of famous bike shops, others now decorate the museum of a famous bicycle company. I kept the best example of the ones I liked, until now...
Now, because I really don't think I will ever need the majority of them, I'm offering them to you, dear reader. Chapeau to Brother Barry up in the PNW. I nearly dropped my dentures in my oatmeal when I saw the prices HE has been getting for nearly the same stuff. Good on you, mate. (In fact, I'm sure he resold one of mine...for about 4-5x what he paid me! THAT'S what makes America great, folks.) While I could tag these as "new", to avoid any misunderstanding I called them all "used".
Anyway, have fun looking. I'll try to tell you some backstory. I'll try to photo/disclose the worst of any condition issues: pin-holes, tears, folds, stains, etc. Some have rarely seen daylight, much less a wall. None are recent cheap repros (like all those campy tool posters, perhaps?) Although a few are quality reproductions made 40-50 years ago, tbd.
All will be rolled up carefully sent to you in cozy & comfortable Federally approved packaging (I pack stuff as I would like to receive it) and delivered to you by a Uniformed Agent of the United States Government under strict Regulations & Protocols. Stay alert! Respect the third amendment!
Make an offer, you may get a pleasant surprise. OTOH, you may get a heartless robot auto response in the negative doubtlessly plunging you into a bottomless pit of despair. Avoid this by just hitting the B.I.N. button or at least perhaps by offering a very generous amount. I suggest the entire contents of your bank account, as you see fit. How much is your faith?
Shipping & Insurance is included in the price and is limited to your verified-by-Ebay address in the US 48 states.
None of these are garage/estate sale flips of dubious provenance. Every effort is made to fully disclose the honest info and true condition. Photos attempt to show anything a buyer would be concerned with. If you think something is incorrect, say something. I am after all (& despite creeping evidence to the contrary and yet not entirely to my dismay) only human.
Please ask all questions or request additional photos before you bid/buy. If you need better measurements than my clever & efficient display board or need to verify the paper stock, etc., just ask. Understand that there are no returns accepted.
If you have any concerns upon receiving a purchase contact me at once and I'll do our utmost to address the situation.
Background items, props, toys, foto-bombing cats and such are not included, ffs.
    Thank you for reading.
