    Description

Offered for your consideration is this ancient American Bison/Buffalo skull. This would be the centerpiece of your western, rustic decor, or a real conversation piece for your man cave. The lady I bought this from said her father found it in the Salt Creek near Lincoln, Nebraska sometime in the mid 1950’s and has been in her family ever since. It measures about 20” long, 12” wide at the eyes, and tip to tip on the horns is 23-1/2”. It weighs 18 pounds. I believe this is a fairly rare item. The bison must have died a natural death in a creek. If animals die on land rodents chew up the bones for calcium. I would guess this skull well predates Nebraska statehood, when bison still roamed the great plains.
Add this to your man cave today and own a rare piece of Great Plains history!
    Offered at no reserve.
