Vintage 389038 Freshwater 1973-1980 Johnson/Evinrude 4HP Standard Gearcase

Vintage 389038 Freshwater Johnson/Evinrude 4HP Standard Gearcase that is a short shaft, or 15" model. Original part # was 385550 superceding to 389038. This gearcase was used on model years 1973 thru 1980, which is the year Evinrude that this one came off of. These year motors were also offered in a weedless gearcase model, I believe them to be interchangeable but not positive about that. Please verify application before purchase. Impeller should be inspected and changed if necessary. Gear oil was drained for shipping, not contaminated with water or metal.  I have included parts diagram with part #'s in the pictures for illustration purpose only.  Free ground shipping to lower 48 of carrier of my choice, usually UPS.
