This antique Victorian era white cotton eyelet blue gingham trim chemise shift smock nightgown dates from 1900. It is made of a white cotton fabric with whitework eyelet cutwork and blue checkered gingham trim decorative details on the yoke top. This women's chemise smock shift style summer nightgown dress is loose fitting, a long tea length, with eyelet ruffle cap sleeves, fancy yoke top details with silk ribbon trim woven through and is unlined. The dress measures 41 inches long, with a 42 inch chest, 60 inch waist, 60 inch hips and an 18 inch back. It is in good condition with only some slight faint staining discoloration on the front skirt which is difficult to see. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana wearable art!
