I personally have worn a Simms Guide jacket for about 6 years and absolutely love it! The 3 layers of Gore-Tex really do keep you dry in extreme weather. I’ve been out in all day pouring rain and wintery rain/snow mix and I was completely dry and comfortable. I hung it out overnight and it was ready to go again in the morning!
It’s full of features such as big storage pockets, hand pockets, wrist/cuff adjustments to keep your hands dry, yet able to use them easily. Also a lot of other great features and waist drawstrings to get the perfect water-tight fit.
The Simms Guide Gore-Tex® jacket features multiple hanging points for your lures, including a tuckaway fly patch that folds out and Shingle Cuffs that won't catch on your cast. And don't forget the Gore-Tex® waterproof breathable membrane that remains lightweight while keeping you dry on the water.
