This is a very nice large Northern Pike mounted on a vertical piece of driftwood. The taxidermy is of very good quality and the paint job is rich and has depth. The work in the mouth and throat is just great (see photos). The fish is screwed to the driftwood thru the back of the driftwood into the fish. I will unscrew the fish for shipping. It will probably take two people to reattach as laying it down to re screw is not a good idea. This is an impressive looking Northern Pike and will look great in the right room, bar, or restaurant. This was caught in Northern Wisconsin in the Manitowish Falls area. I will pack it very carefully. Please see the photos for the best idea of it's condition and excellent mounting job. There is a nice bend in the fish and the mouth is shaped nicely. I measured 38" with a cloth tape from the tip of the jaw to the back of the tail following the natural curve of the fish. The girth was 18" where the tape would fit (probably not quite the widest part).
