Real Kudu Skull African Antelope Horn + Skull.
The skull comes with a metal bracket on the back for easy wall hanging. We ship in 2 boxes. Box # 1 has the skull and box # 2 has the 2 horns.
All our antelope skulls are properly imported into the USA. Animals are all humanely taken or skulls are found in the wild.
Usually the skulls do not have all teeth but we post photos of the actual skull you will receive so you can see exactly what you will receive.
Finishes
We offer kudu horns in 4 main finishes. Below you will see a brief description of each finish.
Natural
It is the kudu horn outer shell without any polishing or oiling. It has been cleaned and disinfected. Occasionally it shows some nicks and bruises which are the prized wear and tear that happen over the years in the animal's life.
Oiled
The oiling process is simply done to take away the dryness that some of the natural horns have and to add a bit of shine. It often makes the horns a bit darker than natural ones. Small scars will still be visible.
Polished
The polishing process adds a superb shine to the horns and brings out beautiful colors. It certainly makes the horns more sophisticated and the colors more vivid. These horns will not show any bruises or indentations since the entire surface is smoothed out after the process of polishing.
Half-Polished
The half-polish finish enhances the horn's colors while preserving the organic beauty of its natural ridges. The “two-tone effect” is absolutely stunning.
This is not a ready made shofar or trumpet. If you wish to buy a ready to use horn, trumpet or shofar this is not the item since the blow holes have not been made.
