    Description

I'm almost sure this is the same
    Micheal Smotherman
    who was an
    American singer, songwriter and producer
, who also played keyboards and percussion and performed with Captain Beefheart, Buckwheat and The Magic band and collaborated with many other legendary musicians. Michael Smotherman's two self-titled albums are from the late 70's (1977) into the early 80's (Epic Records, 1982) and I believe these "Rough Demos" were recorded in mid-'80s. He passed away in 2019.
There is no information on this demo other than what is pictured so
unfortunately I know very little about this rough demo tape. I believe it's 5 songs with solid production and a great melodic AOR sound similar to
    John Waite
    and
    Michael Bolton
. And I don't believe any of these songs have been previously release on any of his records.
    NOTE
