Force Outboard Lower Unit 40hp 50hp 1985

Description

Donor motor was a 1980’s Force 40/50hp.
Shifts smooth F-N-R. Seals checked good (with driveshaft not included...cheaper shipping), oil drained for shipping. Oil looked dirty but good, no signs of metal or water intrusion. I slipped an extra driveshaft in there to pressure check seals. Believe it to be the same as the black more modern gear cases that look the same. Please very fitment prior to purchase.

- Lower unit/gear case seals verified good unless being sold “for parts only”
- Gear oil drained for shipping. Typically all require certain amount 90W gear oil prior to being placed back in service
- No cracks or breaks other than detailed in description or photo
- New items may have shelf wear on packaging. Item will have photo
Recommendations:
- Cleaning or rebuild of all fuel related parts other than those I have detailed as cleaned or rebuilt
- New water impeller for all lower units/gear cases unless it is stated a new one has been installed
