    Description

Drysdale Special Bicycle Decals, Vintage reproduction
I had reproductions made of the original decals for my Dad's late 1940s Drysdale Special bicycle
The artwork is from sketches my Dad made of his bike, as seen on the CR website: http://www.classicrendezvous.com/USA/Drysdale-Alvin.htm
Drysdale was a legendary custom frame builder in New York City, from the late 1920s to the early 1960s
These were very costly to have made, and I got a few extra sets printed
They are water-slide type, ultra thin. Decal printer's instructions will be included
Large decal is for downtube, small Velox decal for seattube, third is headbadge
    From the Joseph Cote Collection.
My father, Joseph Cote (1922-2008) began racing bicycles in the 1930s in Worcester, MA. He accumulated an extensive collection of vintage bicycles, equipment, and print media -- including a Peugeot owned by Major Taylor, which now resides with the US Bicycling Hall of Fame. I inherited my Dad's fascination with bicycles, but I am beginning to sell-off the items that I don't want to keep. Pieces in the collection range from the late 19th century to the 1980s.
Future items for sale will draw from brands including:
BSA, Iver Johnson, Chater Lea, Williams, Bastide, Stearns, Campagnolo, Simplex, Brooks, Persons-Majestic, Mavic, Cyclo, Torrington, Regina, D'Allesandro, Lobdell
    ... and many others
