  • Condition: This is a nice coin. Nickel coins are quite hard and so wear on them is not noticeable in the early stages. I think this coin has slight wear. Still, the devices are quite sharp.

    Description

    A nice coin with very slight wear. I am not much of an expert on Chinese coins or mythology but I just noticed that there are 2 what appear to be dragons on this coin and both of them have a round object in their mouth. This could reference the Nei Lang magic pearl myth but I am not sure. Anyway, it is an ancient Chinese myth and the dragon/pearl motif is common on many of the Chinese copper 10 cash coins that were produced in the early 20th century.
