Hello and thanks for checking out this listing of a pre-owned carbon fiber road bike fork from BMC made for the Impec series of high-end frames. This fork was removed from a pre-owned bicycle and will come to you in the very good used condition that you see in the photographs.
This full carbon fiber fork was specifically designed for the uber-high end BMC Impec frame that made use of an integrated headset with a steerer tube that tapered from 1-1/4" at the crown to 1-1/8" at the stem clamping area. A standard rim brake caliper is required! Its steerer tube measures a generous 276mm in length from the top of the fork crown to the end of the steerer. For 700c wheels. This one came from a frame that developed a bottom bracket issue that was replaced under warranty.
Overall condition is a solid 6 out of 10 with excellent aesthetics and and lovely finish on the outside of each leg. The underside of the crown shoes typical signs of heavy road spray and rub thanks to use with a larger tire. There are also the usual signs of front brake clamping and installation and scuffed dropouts from front wheel installation and removal. At just 370 grams this fork would make a great upgrade to any BMC that uses the same steerer tube format.
