Description

In very soft sheer crepe de chine silk this extremely pale pink nightgown resembles the one worn by Lady Mary in the first glimpse we get of her in Season One of Downton Abbey. With flutter sleeves and lace insets which have delicate embroidery on the bodice, this high end antique nightgown has French seams and is in great antique condition. Original pale pink silk ribbon drawstring along the bodice top. Measures 38 bust, 42 waist, 44 hips and length of 48 inches. In my opinion this beautiful nightdress is not sturdy enough to be casually worn on a regular basis but could definitely be worn for a special occasion with care.
