Four elk antlers - natural sheds. Picked up this spring. Over 17 pounds total weight.  All natural, just as I found them.
These are all hard white, #2 antlers. Three of them have brown on one side. One is all white, sitting out in the wide open grass, with tiny cracks starting on one side. One antler has a broken G1. Looks like it was busted off in velvet, then polished over by the bull's natural rubbing. Five tines have light chews at the tips. Please check photos closely.
All four of these sheds were laying out for a full year, shed by the elk in spring 2020, & found by me in May 2021. About six miles from the nearest road. Wide open rangeland with deer, elk, antelope, eagles, sharptails & huns..... I even tripped over a rattlesnake this year. That's a first for me when picking elk sheds.
This spring, I was hunting all my sheds out in the prairie and foothills, east of the Rockies. Out in the sage and open grass, the shed antlers fade faster than the ones found in the shady, forested areas I'm accustomed to hiking.
Main beams are from 38" to 43", two fives points, two six points, the longest tines are 11"-12". These MAY be two matched sets - but I'm not sure. The burrs don't match up as well as they should, in my opinion, but all four antlers were found within a one-half square mile area, two left sheds, two right sheds, all shed in spring of 2020. So while they may or may not be truly matched, they will display well together.
Total weight of all four antlers -  17 lbs., 2 oz.
