This sale is for one reconditioned Mercury Outboard short shaft lower unit.
This gear case was fully disassembled and inspected.  The gears and internals were found to be in like new condition.
This unit was pressure tested and held at 17 PSI.
The drive shaft measures approx 16 3/4" from the tip to the top of the case, and has 9 splines.
The prop shaft has 10 splines.
12 Tooth Pinion Gear 27 Tooth Forward & Reverse Gear
This gear case fits some Mercury and Mariner outboards with 18, and 25 hp from 1980-1983.
